Panboola Wetlands

Panboola Wetlands is 82 hectares of billabongs, salt marshes and lightly forested areas, all within the village of Pambula on the far south coast of New South Wales. There are walking tracks through the various areas with picnic tables and seats to rest and watch the wide variety of birds and wildlife. Panboola is a community project, cared for lovingly by volunteers and is a great place to spend a few relaxing hours. It’s also an easy stroll to the many fine cafes in the centre of the historic village. It’s a regular haunt for me and these are just a few of the many images captured there. gh
