Merimbula Lake, not surprisingly, is in the town of Merimbula on the far south coast of New South Wales. The lake has a boardwalk, oyster leases and a good little water side cafe. It attracts a wide range of shore and other birds and is a favourite place for locals and visitors to relax. gh
