Corroboree Billabong is a magical 40 kilometre wetland on Marrakai Station between Darwin and Kakadu National Park in the Northern Territory. For nature lovers it’s a Disneyland of water buffalo, wallabies, crocodiles, and over 280 bird species. Two days with a camera on a small (compared with some of the crocs!) six metre boat was a big tick on the bucket list. gh
