Panboola Wetlands consists of 82 hectares of billabongs, salt marshes and light forested areas, all within the village of Pambula. There are well developed walking tracks through the various areas and picnic tables and seats to rest and watch the wide variety of birds and wildlife. Panboola is a community project, cared for lovingly by volunteers and is one of the best places on the far south coast to spend a few relaxing hours. It’s also an easy stroll to the many fine cafes in the centre of the historic village. It’s a regular haunt for me and these are just a few of the many images captured there. gh
