Corroboree Billabong is a spectacular 40 kilometre wetland on Marrakai Station between Darwin and Kakadu National Park. For nature lovers and photographers is has water buffalo, wallabies, the largest crocodile population on the planet and over 280 species of birds. Spending two very hot winter days there on a small (compared with some of the crocs!) six metre boat has been one of my best experiences behind a camera. gh
