Corroboree Billabong

Corroboree Billabong is almost half way between Darwin and Jabiru. It’s on Marrakai Station and consists of 40 killometres of spectacular wetland waterways. It’s home to over 280 species of birds and the largest crocodile population on the planet. The images below came from a remarkable day on the Billabong with Paul Thomsen from Wildfoto Nature Photography Tours. Paul lives near Corroboree Billabong and knows it like the back of his hand. Whether you’re a photographer, a birdwatcher or a general nature lover, spending time on the Billabong with Paul will be an experience you won’t quickly forget.
