Tophill Low Nature Reserve is listed as a site of special scientific interest. It covers 300 acres and includes two artificial reservoirs that are part of a water treatment plant and several marshes. There are a number of bird hides allowing visitors to get up close with the resident wildlife and there are wonderful woodland walks. It’s a remarkable place to spend a day.
