Kings Canyon, in the George Gill Ranges in Central Australia, is stunning even though during our four days there it was very hot with 40 to 60 km dry and dusty winds. The result was very little wildlife other then an occasional dingo after dark, and a pretty difficult day on the 6 km rim walk (read “climb”) in gale force winds. Suffering an injured ankle (somewhat fortuitously), I escaped that pleasure and left it to my partner, Kerry, duly acknowledged (kh) for her wonderful images below. GH
