Cunnamulla is on the banks of the Warrago River and is home to 1,233 hardy people. The town is a service centre for properties in the area and tourists travelling through. It’s home to the Cunnamulla Fella, made famous in song by Slim Dusty. There is a lot to see and do including the excellent “Off the Rails” 3D show at the old railway station and the museum at the tourist information centre. There’s also plenty of wildlife – particularly emus, kangaroos and feral goats, and a cafe offering camel burgers – really delicious! GH
