A Day at the Zoo

Some frown on photographing animals in zoos, insisting their images should be captured in the wild. My view is that provided you acknowledge they are zoo animals, your can only help attact more visitors which in turn helps breeding programs and conservation. You’ll find a number of fine open-plan zoos where animals are free to roam in a natural environment. These images are from one of Australia’s finest, Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo. If you haven’t had the experience of a visit, you really should. gh
